Welcome and thanks for visiting my Guide to Naples Florida Real Estate and the Naples Area. I am Tom Doyle, a Naples Florida Realtor. This guide was first launched in 2003 and has had several major revision over the years – always looking for new ways to inform those interested in Naples.
A short visit to Naples in 2002 led to a permanent move from Minneapolis in December that year. As a self-employed consultant with a CPA, business planning, and marketing background, I decided that becoming a real estate agent would be a good fit for me, and it has been.
Real Estate Experience
While I work with both Sellers and Buyers, the majority has been helping buyers, who found me through online searches. As such I have worked with a very diverse group of buyers, interested in many different property types, from high rise condos, to estate home, to golf condos, to homes with acres. Basically I have been active in the entire Naples area with this diverse group and in all price ranges.
If you are looking for a buyer’s agent in Naples Florida to help you with a home purchase, then you are at the right place. You have found an experienced Naples Realtor who is very knowledgeable about the Naples area real estate market.
I enjoy real estate and have personally owned over a dozen different properties in the Naples including condos, single family homes, pre-construction purchases and homes build in the 1970s. I liked them all. Purchases have been for my own use (lived in 10 different Naples locations) and included several purchases for investment. As such I am very familiar with the benefits and disadvantages of the many different Naples neighborhoods.
Not All Real Estate Agents are the Same
The local Realtor Board has approximately 5,000 Realtors. Naples has been at that level of practicing Realtors for years. But with a large turnover in agents each year. Some make it, many do not. Around 50% of Realtors in Naples FL have either one or no transactions in any year. Approximately 17% of us, do 80% of the transactions.
If someone has a Florida real estate license, that means they can sell real estate anywhere in the state of Florida. It does not mean they are knowledgeable or experienced. I can assure you, your purchase process will be most successful and hassle free with an agent that is knowledgeable and experienced.
“Real estate cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world.”
